This Privacy Policy applies to the PetPic Studio service provided through favslab.com by the website operator of favslab.com ("we", "us", or the "operator"). The operator is the data controller, or equivalent legal role, for personal information processed by this service. You can contact us at support@favslab.com.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on the features you use, we process the following categories of information:

• Account and authentication information, such as email address, third-party login identifiers, and information needed to maintain your session.
• User content, such as pet images you upload, template choices, and generated results.
• Transaction information, such as orders, purchased credits, credit balance, transaction status, and order identifiers returned by payment providers. We do not directly receive or store full payment card details.
• Technical and usage information, such as IP address, device and browser information, request time, error logs, security events, and service usage records. Some of this information may be logged by hosting or security providers.
• Emails, attachments, and related support information you voluntarily send to customer support.

2. Purposes and Legal Bases

We process information only for the following purposes and, where applicable law requires it, rely on the corresponding legal bases:

• Contract performance: creating and maintaining accounts, processing image generation, saving artwork, providing downloads, and managing credits and orders.
• Our legitimate interests: protecting account and service security, preventing fraud and abuse, troubleshooting, and maintaining and improving the service, where those interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms.
• Legal obligations: retaining transaction, tax, dispute, and compliance records required by law and responding to valid government or judicial requests.
• Your consent: processing information where consent is legally required and no other appropriate basis applies. You may withdraw consent, without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.

3. Image Processing and Retention

To complete generation tasks you start, uploaded images and necessary processing information are transferred to third-party image processing services. Do not upload images you are not authorized to process, sensitive personal information, or content unsuitable for third-party processing.

The current product does not set a separate automatic expiration period for uploaded source images. Uploaded source images, generation records, and generated results are retained with the artwork until you delete the artwork in the gallery or submit a valid deletion request under applicable law. Failed generation records and their uploaded source images may also be retained until you delete the record.

When deletion succeeds, we delete the corresponding uploaded source image, generated result, and artwork record from the active application database and active object storage currently used by the service. Infrastructure backups, security logs, and copies created by third-party service providers during task processing may remain for a limited time under their controlled backup, logging, and deletion cycles. Records that must be retained by law are not affected by that deletion action.

We do not sell your images and do not use your images for public-purpose general model training unless we separately explain that use in advance and obtain any authorization required by applicable law.

4. Disclosures and Service Providers

We may disclose information to the following recipients where necessary for the relevant purposes:

• Cloud providers for authentication, database, and object storage; when you use Google login, information needed for login is also exchanged with Google.
• Payment providers that process credit purchases and payments.
• Third-party image processing providers that process uploaded images and generation tasks. We do not publicly name specific commercial providers in this policy, but will disclose information required by applicable law.
• Providers of website hosting, network, security, logging, and customer support services.
• Authorities, professional advisers, or transaction-related parties where required by law, to protect users or third-party rights, to investigate fraud or security incidents, or as necessary for business restructuring.

We do not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.

5. International Transfers

This service is available globally, and the operator and service providers may process information outside your country or region. Where required by applicable law, we use contracts, adequacy decisions, or other valid mechanisms and apply safeguards proportionate to the risk. Laws in the jurisdictions where cross-border processing occurs may differ from those in your location.

6. Other Retention Periods

Account information is generally retained until account closure or completion of a deletion request. Orders, credits, and payment records are retained for periods needed to perform transactions, tax and accounting duties, anti-fraud checks, and dispute handling. Security and error logs are retained for the shortest reasonable period needed to investigate incidents, protect the service, and meet legal obligations. When deciding retention periods, we consider processing purposes, the nature and sensitivity of information, security risks, legal retention duties, and periodic reviews of continued necessity.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on applicable law in your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Applicable U.S. state laws may also give you rights to know categories, sources, purposes, and recipients of information and to be free from discrimination for exercising rights.

You can delete artwork in the gallery or submit other privacy requests through support@favslab.com. To prevent unauthorized access or deletion, we may verify the requester's identity. We will respond within the periods required by applicable law; legal exceptions may limit some requests.

8. Cookies and Sessions

We use cookies or similar technologies necessary for login, sessions, and security. Disabling these technologies may prevent login or core features from working properly. If we later use analytics, advertising, or other non-essential cookies, we will provide notice and choice mechanisms where required by applicable law.

9. Security

We use technical and organizational measures proportionate to the service scale and information risks, including access controls and restricted image access links. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed absolutely secure. If you suspect account or data security issues, contact us promptly.

10. Children

This service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Users below the age of independent consent or legal majority in their location should use the service only with authorization and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child has provided information without proper authorization, contact us.

11. Changes and Contact

We may update this policy due to service or legal changes and will indicate the update date on this page. Changes that materially and adversely affect your rights or how information is used will receive additional notice or consent where required by applicable law.
